Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank has given a great relief to farmers by extending the period of one time loan repayment scheme -2020 till March 31, 2021, media reports say.
Its president Shashibala made this announcement recently. In this regard, he held a meeting with officials in Shimla on Tuesday. He said that the bank had launched a one-time loan repayment scheme in November last year.
Sashibala directed the senior officials of the bank to consider reducing the interest rates on medium and long-term loans to farmers, gardeners.
