Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu directed the Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank Chairman Devendra Shyam and MD Sharwan Manta to prepare a one time settlement policy.
Sukhu said this while unveiling the bank’s calendar at Shimla.
The Chief Minister said, the one time settlement policy will help the customers in a big way and around 5000 people can avail the benefit of this scheme.
Apart from this, instructions were given to the officials to develop a detailed one time settlement policy in collaboration with NABARD and Reserve Bank of India.
The initiative aims to provide adequate support to thousands of farmers, horticulturists and other borrowers associated with banks, which will be launched shortly.
