A two-day advanced training programme for office bearers and chief executives of high working capital Souharda cooperatives from Belagavi and Kalaburagi regions was organised at Manomay Resort, Dandeli, from February 27 to 28.
The training brought together Presidents, Vice Presidents, Directors, and Chief Executive Officers of leading Souharda cooperatives to enhance their managerial, financial, and governance capabilities. The programme focused on strengthening institutional efficiency, improving financial discipline, and adopting best practices in cooperative management.
Participants engaged in detailed sessions aimed at strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and sustainable growth models. The initiative is expected to further professionalise the functioning of Souharda cooperatives and improve their performance in an increasingly competitive financial environment.
The workshop marks a significant step toward capacity building and leadership development within the cooperative sector in Karnataka.
