Kerala High Court has stopped Mallapuram District Cooperative Bank’s merger with Kerala Bank until the court gives its final decision in the matter, reports Hindu.
Abdul Majeed, president, Thuvvoor Panchayat Cooperative Bank had filed the petition.
The next hearing will take place later this month. It is worth repeating that Kerala govt had earlier issued an Ordinance for the merger.
