In a significant development, the Rajasthan High Court in Jodhpur has accepted a revised submission of the state govt that Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Jal Shakti Minister, is an accused in the Sanjivani Credit Cooperative Society case.
The matter is being probed by the Special Operation Group of Police (SOG), Jaipur, media reports say. The cooperative is operating from Jodhpur.
It is worth mentioning that earlier the court had stayed Shekhawat’s arrest in the case and fixed May 5 for the next hearing.
