Haryana CM lauds co-op banks

Haryana M.L.KhattarAddressing the 131st state level bankers’ committee meet in Chandigarh Haryana chief minister M.L Khattar voiced his concern over the low loan recovery.

Khattar, however singled out cooperative banks for special praise. Mr. Khattar said since the BJP has assumed office in the state, cooperative banks have recovered Rs 200 crore in the past three months.

The state govt has given cooperative agricultural banks and rural development banks a financial assistance of Rs 100 crore.

All banks including cooperative banks would provide farmers with loans on negligible interest and boost agricultural development in Haryana, Mr. Khattar hoped.
