Haryana CM inaugurates 72nd Co-op Week in Sonipat

The 72nd Cooperative Week celebrations began in Sonipat with great enthusiasm, marked by a grand inaugural ceremony held at Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and Cooperation Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma graced the occasion, setting the tone for a week dedicated to strengthening the cooperative movement across the state.

Addressing the gathering, dignitaries said it was a moment of pride to participate in the inaugural ceremony and extended greetings to all cooperative institutions and citizens.

They emphasized that Cooperative Week is a festival that rekindles the spirit of cooperation in every household of Haryana. Highlighting the significance of the cooperative model, speakers noted that “the soul of India lives in its villages, and the path to rural development runs through cooperation.”

They also acknowledged Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s major initiatives to strengthen the cooperative movement nationwide, and remembered the millions who built the cooperative sector through small savings and collective efforts.

The inauguration of Cooperative Week marks the beginning of a new chapter for Haryana, with renewed commitment to building a stronger and more prosperous state through cooperative efforts.
