Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has directed officials to set up Milk Producers’ Societies in villages, prioritising widows, self-help groups and Antyodaya families to enhance livelihood opportunities, media reports say.
Reviewing the Cooperation Department’s budget announcements, he also stressed timely payment of incentives under the CM’s Milk Producer Incentive Scheme.
Saini instructed the Cooperation and Animal Husbandry & Dairy departments to jointly frame schemes offering maximum support to livestock farmers, aiming to create sustainable income sources for poor households and strengthen the rural economy.
