The Haryana government has instructed all cooperative societies in the state to upload all their transactions on a web portal to be transparent while dealing with the common people, reports PTI.
Cooperative officials said action will be initiated against the coop societies guilty of non-compliance under the Haryana cooperative Act, 1984.
It is said out of 10,500 cooperative bodies functioning in the state nearly 400 of them have already uploaded their records.
A source said the remaining cooperative bodies are also in the process of uploading data.
