One of the Governing Council members of NCUI and Agrifed Chairman Gurpartap Singh met Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah and emphasized the importance of onboarding Federations, MSCS and PACS in the National Agriculture Infra Financing Facility.
He met the Cooperation Minister during his visit to the headquarters of NCUI last week. Earlier, we reported how during Shah’s visit to the NCUI, GC member from Manipur, Jina Potsangbam met him and apprised him on the current situation in the state.
The office of Gurpartap Singh informed the Indian Cooperative, “AGRIFED Chairman has pointed towards the involvement of federations, multi state societies and primary agricultural societies in Agri infra development”.
“He also apprised the Minister of work AGRIFEED is doing in fodder supply chain and Bio energy management. The hon’ble minister gave his assurance to support AGRIFED ”, Singh’s office message reads.
