Treating him as one among themselves, several cooperators across the country wished Amit Shah, BJP’s President on his birth day. Shah began is political career as a cooperator and continues to be on the board of several cooperatives till date in Gujarat.
The chairman of the Cooperative Bank in Uttar Pradesh Man Singh was the chief guest in the function organised by BJP Mahila Morcha leader Neelam Tiwari to celebrate the birthday of the BJP President Amit Shah in Lucknow. The event was organized near Gandhi statue at the GPO Park in the town. It was Shah’s 55th birthday, reports UNI.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also wished him on the occasion. “I pray to God for your longevity and perfect health,” CM Yogi twitted.
It bears recall that Amit Shah connection with Ahmadabad Cooperative Bank was in news when Congress accused the Bank of depositing about Rs 500 crores during demonetization. Shah is one of the Directors.
Ahmadabad Cooperative Bank’s Chairman Ajay Patel is suing Congress including its President Rahul Gandhi for dragging the names of Shah and others in the matter.
