Grand Farewell to Rao, Longest-Serving Chairman

A grand felicitation and farewell programme was organised in Karimnagar for former Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank chairman Konduru Ravinder Rao, marking the end of his two-decade-long tenure from 2005 to 2025.

Speakers recalled his pivotal role in strengthening the cooperative banking sector in Telangana and nationally. Under his leadership, KDCCB achieved consistent growth, won multiple national awards from NABARD and NAFSCOB, and emerged as a model learning centre for cooperative banks across India.

Ravinder Rao credited late Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy for the opportunity to serve and highlighted the bank’s low NPA of 0.54 per cent and 99 per cent loan recovery rate.
