Union Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah informed the Lok Sabha that the cost of the Central Sector Project for Computerization of PACS has risen to Rs 2,925.39 crore, covering 73,492 units, up from the original Rs 2,516 crore for 63,000 PACS.
Each PACS receives Rs 10,198 for training, totalling Rs 64.24 crore. The programme includes two days of ERP software training, 14 days of hand-holding by the System Integrator, and refresher sessions.
Training covers ERP operations, data entry, accounting, credit, procurement, and distribution, supported by webinars, helplines, and manuals in regional languages.
The aim is to integrate all PACS onto a common ERP platform linked with NABARD via StCBs and DCCBs.
