In a significant boost to cooperative-led agricultural exports, Banas Farmers Producer Company (FPO) has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Cooperative Exports Limited to expand the global reach of farmers’ produce and enhance their income opportunities.
The agreement was formalized in Mussoorie in the presence of Shankar Chaudhary, Speaker of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly and Chairman of Banas Dairy. Anupam Kaushik was also present on the occasion.
The partnership aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Sahakar Se Samriddhi” and aims to strengthen cooperative-driven exports by connecting farmers directly with international markets.
Under the agreement, commodities such as cumin, groundnut and other agricultural products will be marketed through NCEL’s export network.
