Maharashtra’s leading Godavari Urban Co-operative Credit Society (Multistate) has been conferred with the prestigious ‘Green World Co-Pride Award’ for its outstanding contribution to the cooperative sector.
The award was presented during a Cooperative Conference held in Pune on the occasion of the International Year of Cooperatives 2025, jointly organised by Green World and Cosmos Bank.
The honour was bestowed by Maharashtra State Minister for Cooperation, Balasaheb Patil, in the presence of Vidyadhar Anaskar, Chairman of the Administrator Board, Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank, and Pralhad Kokare, Chairman of Cosmos Bank.
The award was received on behalf of Godavari Urban by Secretary Adv. Ravindra Ragte, Deputy Manager Ravi Ingale, Vijay Shirmewar, Senior Marketing Officer Mahesh Kendre, and Ankush Bibekar, Branch Manager, Wagholi (Pune).
On the occasion, Minister Balasaheb Patil highly appreciated the functioning of Godavari Urban and remarked that the institution has set an exemplary benchmark in the cooperative sector through its transparent and member-centric approach.
Congratulating the institution on this achievement, Founder Hon. Hemant Patil and Chairperson Rajshri Patil extended their heartfelt congratulations to Managing Director Dhananjay Tambekar, the entire Board of Directors, officers, staff members, as well as all members and depositors.
