Goa News Hub reports the Crime Branch will soon scrutinize Tirumalla Tirupati Multistate Cooperative Credit Society Limited, a financial institution run by an actor Kapil Jhaveri.
The allegation is that the actor was using the cooperative society for money laundering. The state govt has given the green light for a proper investigation into the matter.
Triumalla Tirupati Multi State Cooperative Credit Society boasts a large number of investors from South Goa.
It is said a man close to one of the former Chief Ministers of Goa has been the key figure involved in running the society’s operations in Goa.
