After a long time, Nabard’s Goa Regional Office has sanctioned ST refinance assistance of Rs 20 crores to the Goa State Cooperative Bank towards working capital requirements of Societies and PACS.
The bank has been brought on the refinance map of NABARD exactly after a gap of 24 odd years. The sanction of refinance will ultimately benefit the farmers of the state.
Usha Ramesh, General Manager handed over the sanction letter to Anant Chodankar, MD, Goa StCB.
On the occasion, Krishna Kudnekar, Director, Goa StCB, Premananda Chawadekar, Director, Goa StCB, Vasant Savardekar, DGM, NABARD and other officials were present.
