Goa State Cooperative Bank (GSCB) held recently a workshop-cum-meeting of PACS with a view to developing a strategy to revive PACS, reports Navhind Times.
The objective of the workshop was to discuss how to re-energize non-functional PACS and make them aware of the existence of Cooperative Development Fund (CDF) with NABARD for helping the sector.
PACS are eligible for funding from the CDF for creation of infrastructure facilities towards enhancing business, increasing profitability, mobilizing deposits etc.
