Goa Dairy revises Milk Prices amid rising Operational Costs

Goa State Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union, popularly known as Goa Dairy, has announced a revision in milk prices with effect from May 25, 2026, citing rising input and operational costs amid the ongoing economic pressures on the dairy sector.

According to the cooperative union, the price of all milk variants has been increased by Re 1 per half litre and Rs 2 per litre. However, the rates of High Fat Milk (Gold) will remain unchanged. The revised prices will come into force across Goa Dairy’s distribution network from Sunday.

Goa Dairy stated that the decision was taken after carefully assessing increasing procurement, transportation, packaging, and operational expenses.

Despite the hike, the cooperative maintained that its milk products continue to remain competitively priced in comparison to other brands in the market while adhering to quality standards.
