Addressing a seminar on the occasion of international women’ Day in Chennai, Director of Town and Country Planning R.Kirlosh Kumar said , in a bid to provide women chartered accounts with jobs in a big way the state govt. had decided to get all cooperative societies audited without delay, says a report by New Indian Express.
”There are more than 20,000 co-operative societies in Tamil Nadu. This includes around 4,500 primary agricultural cooperative societies, another 130 urban and a further 27 district cooperative societies.
All of them will be audited and this will open up abundant opportunities for women chartered accountants,” Mr. Kumar said.
