In a remarkable victory, the BJP Rajya Sabha MP Rajendra Gehlot-led panel made a clean sweep in the elections of Rajasthan based Jodhpur Nagrik Sahakari Bank, winning with record-breaking margins. The election was held on Sunday and other results were announced on Monday.
Gehlot, who was himself in the fray, secured the highest number of votes at 3,737.
The other elected directors from his panel include Kanraj Mahnot, Suresh Doshi, Neetu Purohit, Tulsidas Raj, Ganpat Singh Chauhan, Rajendra Bhutda, Shivdutt Vyas, and Rashmi Rathi.
In contrast, candidates from the rival panel were unable to secure even 1,000 votes each.
As soon as the results were declared on Monday, the winning panel extended heartfelt gratitude to all voters, supporters, and well-wishers for their direct and indirect contribution to this historic victory.
They expressed sincere thanks for the overwhelming support to shareholders.
