National Cooperative Union of India’s Governing Council Member and Raipur MLA Mr. Satyanarayana Sharma has praised IFFCO for taking various measures to protect people from the corona virus.
Thousands of triple layer washable masks were provided for Balod district on the initiative of IFFCO State Marketing Manager Shailendra Chauhan. These were handed over to Balod Collector Janmejay Mahobe in the presence of Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Union President Jhunmun Gupta and Regional Manager of IFFCO, Dinesh Gandhi.
These masks will be distributed among the service cooperatives of the district, vendors of PDS shops and those cooperatives dealing directly with the public. These would also be given to medical and police personnel, said Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Union President Jhunmun Gupta.
Gupta informed that earlier also, a large number of masks, sanitizers were distributed by IFFCO. A special feature of the mask to be distributed is that this mask is manufactured by the State Handloom Development and Marketing Cooperative Federation of the cooperative sector. These masks are being procured and distributed by IFFCO, a cooperative sector organization.
