On the occasion of World Sight Day, Dr Manisha Acharya, Director of Dr Shroff Charity Eye Hospital, Delhi Health Care Cooperative Society bestowed an award on Delhi Health Care Co-op for its special cooperation in eye donation awareness campaigns.
The award was jointly received by Gajendra Pal Singh Saran and MPS Dangi on behalf of Delhi Health Care Cooperative Society Ltd. ‘A tribute to Eye Donors Families’ program was organized at Dr. Shroff Charity Eye Hospital, Daryaganj, New Delhi.
In the program, the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the families who donated the eyes of their relatives after death and were honored by presenting a memento on behalf of Shroff Hospital.
“Let us all come together and take an oath today to donate eyes. Delhi Health Care Cooperative is a beautiful example”, declared Gajender Singh on the occasion.
