Gaikwad elected Chairman of Pune People’s Co-op Bank

At a recent meeting of the Board of Directors of Pune People’s Co-operative Bank, under the chairmanship of senior director and former chairman CA Janardan Randive, the Board unanimously elected Shridhar Gaikwad as Chairman and Bipinkumar Shah as Vice-Chairman for the year 2025–26.

Gaikwad, a successful entrepreneur and founder of Shridhar Fabrication, is also a trustee of Jangli Maharaj Ashram, Kokamthan. Known for his dynamic leadership and innovative approach, he is recognized as one of the promising young leaders in the cooperative sector.

Bipinkumar Shah, an eminent businessman, has been actively involved in several Jain organizations and has contributed significantly to social and charitable causes over the years.

Pune People’s Co-operative Bank, one of Maharashtra’s leading multi-state co-operative banks, achieved a total business of Rs 2,706 crore during the financial year ending March 31, 2025. The Bank recorded zero percent Net NPA, a CD ratio of 65.70%, CRAR of 15.59%, and a net profit of Rs 17.46 crore.

Chairman Gaikwad stated that security, transparency, and customer service remain the Bank’s core principles. With 23 branches and a 74-year legacy, the Bank aims to cross the Rs 3,000 crore business milestone by the end of the current financial year.
