A friendly 20-20 Cricket Match was played between India’s leading fertilizer organisation-KRIBHCO and Department of Fertilizers, Government of India. This friendly match was inaugurated by Shri R.K. Chaturvedi, IAS, Secretary (Fertilizers).
Dharam Pal IAS, Addl. Secy (Fert.) Department of Fertilizers and other official of Department of Fertilizers participated in the match. From KRIBHCO, Rajan Chowdhry, MD, V.S.Sirohi, Marketing Director, S.S. Yadav, Director (H.R.) and R.S.Mathur ED(F&A) were also present at the Chilla Sports Complex.
The Fertilizer Department was led by Dharam Pal while S.S. Yadav led the team of KRIBHCO. Department of Fertilizers won the toss and decided to field. KRIBHCO set a target of 173 runs in 20 Overs. Department of Fertilizers team was not able to achieve the given target and lost the match by 39 runs.
Ravindra from KRIBHCO was declared Man of the Match. Performance of Vikas from Department of Fertilizers was appreciated by everyone. Last year a similar kind of friendly match was played in which Department of Fertilizers was the winner.
