Rising Kashmir reports Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Pandurang K Pole described the Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) as the 21st Century Cooperative Model that could prove a game-changer in income generation to farmers.
He stressed the importance of effective leadership and proper management of finances in the context of reviving cooperative bodies.
Pole was speaking at the concluding session of the 68th All India Cooperative week held Saturday in Srinagar.
