The ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi had been defeated the Mulkanoor Cooperative Rural Bank and Marketing Society and the Husnabad single window chairman elections in Karimnagar district, says Hindu.
The Congress party had swept the Mulkanoor Cooperative Bank elections and also snatched the coveted Single window chairman post of Husnabad Primary Cooperative Agricultural Society (PACS) in the stiff competition.
However, the Congress party continued its winning streak in the Mulkanoor cooperative bank elections. Former Congress legislator A. Praveen Reddy’s panel won the elections by sweeping all the five director posts. The TRS supported panel headed by Vangara former sarpanch Pingali Jaipal Reddy lost the elections miserably at the hands of Praveen Reddy’s panel.
DCC president K. Mruthyunjayam was instrumental in the victory of Congress candidate in single window chairman elections. This victory in came as a sigh of relief to the Congress.
