Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman met protesting customers of scam-hit PMC Bank in Mumbai and assured them of fast resolution of the issue.
I have talked to the RBI governor on the issue in the past and would talk again to ensure speedy withdrawal of money for the victims of the PMC Bank fraud, Sitharaman is quoted saying.
She, however admitted that the process has to follow the established course and a solution is possible only when RBI and the newly appointed Administrator are satisfied.
Minister is on a campaign trail in Maharashtra for the upcoming Assembly elections.
