An apex body of fishery cooperatives- Fishcopfed delegation led by its officiating Chairman Ramdas Sandhe paid a courtesy call on the Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Parshottam Rupala last week.
On the occasion the delegation apprised about the present situation of the apex body and asked for his support. The delegation greeted with a bouquet of flowers and extended good wishes to Rupala.
Fishcopfed Vice President Hukum Singh Bhati, NFDB member P Janardhan and others were also present.
It is notable that the Ministry of Fisheries and NCDC have a share of 89 percent in Fishcopfed. With Parshottam Rupala taking charge of the ministry, it is being hoped that things will get back to normal.
