The Reserve Bank of India gave the green light for changing the name of Uttar Pradesh District Cooperative Bank, Faizabad to District Cooperative Bank, Ayodhya.
Uttar Pradesh Cooperation Minister JPS Rathore shared the news. He said, “On 23rd November 2018, the name of Faizabad was changed to Ayodhya. Now Faizabad DCCB name has also changed to Ayodhya DCCB ”.
“The bank has an area of operation in Ayodhya as well as Ambedkarnagar and has a network of 24 branches in both the districts”, he added.
