Pune based prestigious cooperative institution Vamicom in collaboration with ICA has launched a training program on “Empowerment of Rural Women for Improvement of their Leadership and Business Management in Asia and Africa-2021” from 9th August to 18th August 2021.
The objective of the program is to build the capacity of rural women for leadership roles in agribusiness and entrepreneurship and to enhance their business management abilities for more organized activities and participation in agribusiness in Asia and Africa.
The program consists of 13 sessions wherein prominent Women Collectives, Self-help groups and FPO’s in India are invited to present their journey and share their best practices and challenges. 15 participants from Asian and African countries representing Cooperative agriculture, producers organizations, state cooperative federations, women cooperative development, cooperative banks etc, will be part of this training program.
The entire training program is designed and conceptualized under the leadership of Dr Hema Yadav, Director VAMNICOM, according to the Vamnicom social media post.
