The Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out search operations at 11 locations in Thrissur District linked to Abdul Salam, former President of the District Cooperative Bank – Thrissur, and defaulted loanees.
The raids, conducted under the PMLA, 2002, pertain to a bank fraud case involving the now-merged Kerala State Co-operative Bank.
Incriminating documents were seized during the operations. Further investigations are underway.
