According to media reports, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued a notice to CPI-M leader M.M. Varghese regarding the Kerala Cooperative Bank scam case.
The central investigating agency has questioned senior CPI-M legislator and former State Cooperative Minister A.C. Moideen, along with former CPI-M legislator M.K. Kannan and Varghese himself.
Several CPI-M leaders and employees of the Trissur-based Karuvannur Cooperative Bank have already been detained.
Varghese stated that he has not received any notice yet and mentioned that he will inform his party if the ED contacts him.
