Dombivli Nagari Sahakari Bank Ltd has partnered with ITM Skills University to launch the SMART Bankers Program (PGDRB), a one-year, industry-integrated course designed to build future-ready banking professionals.
The program blends classroom learning with hands-on exposure, featuring three months of residential training at ITM Skills University, followed by a three-month branch internship and six months of on-the-job training at DNS Bank. The structured approach ensures real-time understanding of banking operations, customer relationship management, and frontline business practices.
A key highlight is assured placement, successful candidates will be inducted as Relationship & Branch Banking Officers at DNS Bank, offering a direct pathway from education to employment.
The MoU was signed in the presence of DNS Bank Chairman Adv. Ganesh Dhargalkar, Vice Chairman Nandini Kulkarni, and MD & CEO Vishram Dixit, along with ITM leaders including Nitin Putcha and Anupam Sinha.
The initiative underscores the growing importance of industry-academia collaboration in bridging skill gaps and strengthening India’s banking talent pipeline.
