Maharashtra based Dombivli Nagari Sahakari Bank (DNS Bank) unveiled its much-awaited Internet Banking facility at its 56th Annual General Meeting, even as the leading urban cooperative bank reported a net profit of Rs 42.95 crore for FY26 and maintained a spotless Net NPA of zero.
Addressing shareholders, Chairman Adv. Ganesh Dhargalkar said the bank’s total business crossed Rs 7,100 crore, rising by Rs 736 crore during the year. Deposits increased to Rs 4,426 crore, while advances reached Rs 2,675 crore. Despite challenging economic conditions, the bank kept its Gross NPA at just 1.09% and Net NPA at 0%.
The AGM also approved a dividend of 10.75% for shareholders and 11% for preference shareholders.
Dhargalkar highlighted that DNS Bank received the Maharashtra Urban Cooperative Banks Federation’s Best Bank Award for the third consecutive year and also won honours for Best Multi-State Cooperative Bank, Best NPA Management and Best Digital Banking.
The bank expanded its network to 70 branches during the year and announced plans to introduce forex services and a dedicated customer service cell.
