The Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation (DICGC) has announced that it will make deposit insurance payments to eligible depositors of Nasik Jilha Mahila Vikas Sahakari Bank Ltd., Nashik, under Section 18A of the DICGC Act, 1961. The bank has been placed under All-Inclusive Directions (AID) with effect from December 9, 2025.

According to the notification, depositors are required to submit their insurance claims and willingness declarations to the bank by January 23, 2026.

The claims must be supported by officially valid identity documents, written consent to receive the insured amount, and details of an alternate bank account. DICGC will make the payment on March 9, 2026, subject to timely submission of the claim list by the bank in the prescribed format.

Eligible depositors will receive insurance coverage of up to Rs 5 lakh, in the same capacity and same right. Payments will be credited to the alternate bank account provided by the depositor or, with consent, to an Aadhaar-linked bank account. Depositors have been advised that the willingness submitted will apply to all their deposit accounts with the bank.

For further details on the claim settlement process for AID banks, depositors may visit the DICGC website.
