Telengana minister T Harish Rao has urged the central govt to exempt fertiliser from GST and take steps to solve the problem of cash shortage in banks, reports New Indian Express.
The minister said this while recently inaugurating the newly constructed District Cooperative Bank building in Siddipet town.
Farmers are facing serious problems across the country and imposing any additional burden on them would only worsen their situation, the minister added.
