A news outlet reports a CBI court in New Delhi has sentenced a former IAS officer to three years rigorous imprisonment in a fraud case pertaining to a co-operative housing society.
There are three people accused in the case including Narayan Diwakar, former IAS officer and ex-Registrar of Co-operative Society in Delhi.
The trial court has found all the three guilty. The investigation revealed that the accused had hatched a conspiracy and swindled the Office of Registrar Cooperative Societies (RCS) by faking papers.
