DCCB’s CEO: MLA’s foul conversation goes viral

An audio conversation involving TRS MLA from Nakrekal, Vemula Veeresham, and CEO of District Cooperative Central Bank, Nalgonda Mohan Rao where the former has threatened getting the latter arrested on charges of bribery for delaying the clearance of his file, has gone viral on social media reports The News Minute.

The incident had come to light when Sakshi TV reported that the legislator called the official on behalf of a local politician who had asked for a loan.

The MLA warned Rao that if the work was not done within the stipulated time, a bribery case would be filed against him. The official said the file had been kept on the table of the chairman as per procedure.

“If you want money tell me. I will give you,” the MLA told the CEO. However, the CEO refused the money.

During the conversation, the MLA kept threatening that he would lodge a complaint against the CEO with the bank authorities and the Chief Minister that he had demanded Rs 10 lakh to clear the file”
