DCCB Shimoga in eye of controversies

The Karnataka govt had suspended the management board of the district city cooperative bank in Shimoga on the grounds of financial irregularities.

The govt had already appointed an administrator to run the bank. Meanwhile, the directors of the bank filed a petition in the High Court challenging the govt ‘s order and the court has not allowed the govt to go ahead suspending the bank’s management.

However, the court has denied the management to take decisions involving substantial financial transactions.
