Kashmir Readers reports temporary employees of the Central Cooperative Bank, Baramulla held a protest meeting in front of the bank’s head office demanding immediate payment of their salaries and regularization of their services.
The employees have not been paid their salaries for the last several months.
The employees also called upon the govt. to take necessary actions against the officials who are allegedly involved in misappropriation of funds.
Some of the protesters were quoted saying due to delay in payment of salaries their families are on the brink of starvation.
