As DCCBs across India are girding up to launch mobile ATM vans to reach out to their customers, the first such mobile ATM van was launched in Agra District Cooperative Bank by former Cabinet Minister and DCCB Chairman Raja Mahendra Singh at the bank headquarters.

The chairman said, “On the initiative of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Cooperative Minister Mukut Bihari verma, 30 ATM vans will travel in different districts of the state. As farmers are mostly associated with DCCBs, ATM vans will allow them to take cash and carry out other transactions. The mobile ATM van is a facility at their door step”, said Singh.

Vans will also disseminate information about plans and policies of the bank. Addressing the gathering, Singh also spoke about several initiatives he had taken during his tenure.

The bank Vice Chairman Balkrishna Sharma, Girijest Kumari, Usha Devi and others were present on the occasion.
