Mahatma Gandhi Rural Development and Panchayat Raj University, Gadag, in collaboration with Karnataka State Souharda Federal Cooperative Ltd., Bengaluru, conducted the first semester examinations for the third batch of the Diploma in Cooperation and Banking Management (DCBM) on October 25 and 26, 2025.
The examinations were held at two centres across Karnataka. The first semester papers included Cooperative Environment and Banking Management, Cooperative Credit Structure, Cooperative Laws, and Digital Banking Operations.
A total of 131 students appeared for the exams, reflecting the growing interest in cooperative education and professional training in the state’s banking and cooperative sectors. The DCBM programme aims to build managerial and financial expertise among young professionals to strengthen Karnataka’s cooperative ecosystem.
