CSC e-Governance Services India Limited (CSC SPV) recently organised a training programme for six Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) under the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare initiative aimed at promoting 10,000 Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) across the country.
The programme focused on strengthening FPOs through digital tools, organisational management and access to online services. Representatives of the participating FPCs were trained on the use of the CSC Grameen e-Store, a digital platform that enables farmers to order quality agricultural inputs from companies such as Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited, Rallis India Limited and Patanjali Ayurved directly at their doorstep.
Participants were also introduced to a range of citizen services available through CSC centres, including crop insurance, DigiPay, PAN card services and farmer registry facilities. Officials said the initiative aims to enhance digital literacy among FPOs and improve farmers’ access to essential services and agri-inputs.
