Hitavada reports Nagpur bench of Bombay High Court has refused to accept the petition filed by MSCB against attachment of its property to pay dues of workers of Vainganga Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana.
The court permitted the District Collector to take over the bank property and also its account with Bank of Baroda.
Rejecting MSCB’s petition in 2019, the apex court had given a direction to pay the dues of workers or else directed attachment of property. It is said the court ruling will bring relief to the workers who had long been agitating for payment of their dues.
