Showing great cricketing skills, the Cricket Team of The Cosmos Cooperative Bank romped in with 39 runs over their rival Blaster Boys Club in the Summer League Cricket Tournament held by the Pune District Cricket Association, informs a press release.
The match was held on Saturday, 11th June 2022 at the NCL Cricket Ground, Pashan. Blaster Boys Club won the toss and chose to field first. The Team Cosmos Bank made 152 runs in 20 overs at the loss of 5 wickets. While chasing the target, Blaster Boys Club could make only 113 runs in 18.4 overs losing 10 wickets.
The Cosmos Team members, Rakesh Gaikwad made 44 runs, Ranjeet Jagtap made 33 runs and Prasad Ghogre made 23 runs with their excellent performance.
Star bowler of Cosmos Bank, Prasad Ghogre took 3 wickets while Nikhil Shewale, Prasad Shinde & Ranjeet Jagtap took 2 wickets each, which made the opposition kneel down in 113 runs for 10 wickets.
Prasad Ghogre was declared The Man of the Match for taking 3 wickets in 4 overs and fetching 23 runs for his team; thus, making the victory of Cosmos Bank much easier.
