Celebrating the divine halt of Ashadhi Wari in Pune, Cosmos Bank organized a soulful devotional music concert titled ‘Abhanga Vithumaulinche’ at its Sahakar Sabhagruha auditorium located at the Bank’s Head Office. The concert featured a vocal recital by Mrs. Sivasri Skandaprasad – Surya, held in honor of the auspicious arrival of the Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi in Pune.
The performance included timeless Abhangas composed by Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj, Sant Tukaram Maharaj, and other revered saints, alongside other devotional renditions dedicated to Lord Vithumauli. The programme was warmly received by Cosmos Bank’s members, customers, account holders, and devotees, drawing widespread appreciation.
Renowned singer Ms. Arya Ambekar and acclaimed actor Nitish Bharadwaj graced the concert with their presence. The event coincided with the Palkhi halt in Pune on 21st June 2025, a significant moment during the spiritual Ashadhi Wari yatra.
Sivasri Skandaprasad, Surya, a celebrated classical vocalist and Bharatanatyam dancer from Karnataka, mesmerized the audience with her performance. She is also known as the wife of Tejasvi Surya, Member of Parliament from South Bengaluru.
Cosmos Bank Chairman Adv. Pralhad Kokare, Board Directors, and Managing Director Mrs. Apekshita Thipsay were present for the occasion. The concert concluded on a high note, leaving the audience spiritually and musically enriched.
