Cosmos Bank gives away Adi Shakti Awards on Women’s Day

In a grand celebration of International Women’s Day, Cosmos Bank honoured exemplary women from diverse fields with the prestigious Cosmos Adi Shakti Awards. The ceremony took place at the Cosmos Tower, the bank’s headquarters, amidst an atmosphere of reverence and appreciation.

Esteemed individuals including Medha Kulkarni, Member of Parliament, Neelkanti Patekar, Neelam Edlabadkar, Dr. Vidula Sohoni, Dr. Deepa Paturkar, and Hema Yadav were bestowed with the Cosmos Adi Shakti Award, recognizing their outstanding contributions to society.

The event extended beyond the headquarters, as similar ceremonies unfolded across seven states, acknowledging women achievers in various branches of the bank.

In her impassioned address, Medha Kulkarni emphasized the significance of gender equality and lauded the bank’s initiative in honoring women achievers. She expressed her heartfelt connection to the Cosmos Adi Shakti Award, appreciating the bank’s dual commitment to reliable banking services and financial security.

The ceremony also witnessed the conferral of the ‘Hirakani Award’ upon women staff who exhibited remarkable resilience in the face of personal challenges. Additionally, the ‘Bond of 3 Generation Award’ recognized women customers who have maintained a longstanding relationship with Cosmos Bank across three generations.

The day’s festivities included spirited competitions, with women staff actively participating in various events. Anuradda Gadale’s visionary leadership guided the seamless execution of the International Women’s Day program.

Among the dignitaries present were CA Milind Kale, Chairman of Cosmos Bank, Vice Chairman Praveenkumar Gandhi, and Managing Director Apekshita Thipsay. The event was expertly hosted by Mrs. Prachi Ghotkar, with senior director Adv. Pralhad Kokare also in attendance.

The ceremony culminated with a poignant moment as Medha Kulkarni received the Cosmos Adi Shakti Award from Chairman CA Milind Kale and Managing Director Apekshita Thipsay, symbolizing the collective recognition of women’s empowerment and achievements.
