Cooperators mourn demise of Lata Mangeshkar

Cooperators across the country have mourned the death of iconic singer Lata Mangeshkar, who died on Sunday morning at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital after battling Covid-19.

IFFCO MD Dr. U S Awasthi wrote, “We will miss the legendary singer but her magical voice will always be part of each of us. A glimpse of some precious moments of my wife Rekha Awasthi who shared a deep relationship with art & culture when she met the legendary Lata Didi”.

Amul doodles also paid a heartfelt tribute to the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar. The cooperative shared the new cartoon to pay special tribute to the departed soul.

Nafcub President Jyotindrabhai Mehta shared one of the songs, sung by the Mangeshkar on Social Media and wrote, “Rahe Na Rahe Hum Mahaka Karengay”.

There were many other co-operators who took to social media to pay tribute to the departed soul.
