Free Press Journal quotes official sources as saying EOW) has lodged a case in connection with irregularities committed by three cooperative committees of Jabalpur district in paddy procurement in the year 2003-04.
Sources close to the EOW said, complaints of alleged financial irregularities in paddy procurement were reported from 25 cooperative societies of the district.
However, irregularities were detected in only three societies.
The police have registered cases under various sections of the Anti Corruption Act.
